G. Raymond & Company</a> has over 120 years of experience in the wood and forest products industry, general industry, and consulting. The firm consists of five senior consultants with broad industry exposure. Each consultant has areas of specific expertise such as plant layout, materials handling, production scheduling and control, or wood technology. When teamed together on a consulting engagement this breadth enables solutions that combine the wide vision of the generalist with the eye of a specialist. The result is a well-conceived response that considers both the clients daily operating problems and longer-range strategy.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial">Our staff also includes a professional engineer with responsibilities in detailed process design, materials handling, and plant layout. This resource enables the firm to provide detailed input and oversight on facilities development projects such as the restructuring of an older process or the construction of a new plant.  In addition we utilize the services of associated engineering specialists in electrical, civil, and structural design as required to complement our experience. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial">Our consultants regularly attend seminars, major machinery exhibitions and trade shows in the U.S. and around the world to stay abreast of the latest in product and equipment.
